Dhaka is the most densely populated city in Bangladesh, and municipal solid waste treatment has long been a major challenge for urban governance. The North Dhaka Waste-to-Energy Project will effectively relieve the pressure of "waste siege" and turn household waste into a steady stream of clean electricity.
