The North Dhaka Waste-to-Energy Project is located in the northern part of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. It is a key municipal environmental infrastructure project and a key cooperation project in clean energy and environmental protection.
Adopting the "waste-to-energy, turning waste into treasure" technical route, the project centrally treats municipal solid waste in northern Dhaka in a harmless manner and converts the incineration heat into electricity fed into the local grid, achieving a unity of environmental and energy benefits.
